By creating an account or using any part of the BookTime service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Service Description

BookTime is a professional booking and client management platform that provides:

• Appointment scheduling and calendar management
• Client/contact database and relationship management
• Form builder and submission collection
• Embeddable booking widgets for websites
• Payment processing integration (via Stripe)
• Notification and reminder systems
• Analytics and reporting tools

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use BookTime, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old (or legal age in your jurisdiction)
• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Have legal authority to enter into this agreement
• Use a valid Google account for authentication

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Immediately notifying us of any unauthorized access
• Ensuring your Google account is secure (we recommend enabling 2FA)

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to:

• Violate any laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
• Use the service for spam, phishing, or unsolicited marketing
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Collect user data without consent
• Share your account with others
• Use the service for illegal activities
• Overload or disrupt our infrastructure (DoS attacks)

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices with 30 days advance notice. Existing subscribers will be grandfathered for 12 months at their current rate.

5.2 Taxes

Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax). You are responsible for all taxes associated with your use of the service.

BookTime and all related trademarks, logos, and service marks are owned by us or our licensors. The service, including all software, design, and content, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You retain all rights to content you upload ("Your Content"). By using the service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and display Your Content solely to provide the service.

You represent that you have all necessary rights to Your Content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.

7. Data Protection

Your use of BookTime is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. Key points:

8. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

8.1 Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for service interruptions, data loss, or any damages resulting from service unavailability.

8.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BOOKTIME SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BookTime, its affiliates, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any law or third-party rights
• Your Content or use of the service
• Your breach of confidentiality or security obligations

10. Dispute Resolution

10.1 Informal Resolution

10.2 Arbitration

Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law. You waive your right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action.

11. Changes to Terms

12. Termination

12.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time through account settings. Upon termination:

• No Waiver: Failure to enforce any right does not waive that right
